Hillside Occupational Medicine
is a state of the art medical clinic conveniently located in south
Anchorage. After working many years in large medical corporations, Doctors
John and Miriam Nolte saw the need for a locally administrated medical
clinic in Anchorage and started the clinic in 1998. Hillside Occupational
Medicine was created out of their experience and their desire to deliver a
better product.
Currently, occupational contracts cover several thousand employees in every
major city in Alaska and numerous remote locations.
Hillside patients have the choice of a male or female physician. They will
be able to see that same doctor for yearly screening exams, injuries, and as
their Family Physician, if desired. This continuity of care is unmatched by
large organizations, minimizes unnecessary repeat care and testing, and
optimizes return to work.
In-clinic x-ray, casting, laboratory, drug testing, sound booth,
immunizations, etc. means your employees receive one stop medical care.
In-office nerve conduction testing with Neurometrix means that preexisting
carpal tunnel disorders can be discovered and a baseline established before
employees are subjected to repetitive wrist trauma. Additionally, nerve
injuries can be assessed right in the office, trimming weeks off the time it
takes to obtain a diagnosis and initiate treatment. Custom forms and special
requests can be quickly and professionally accommodated. To your company
this all adds up to saving time and money.
