Dr. John Nolte and Dr. Miriam Nolte started the practice in 1998 and have thoroughly enjoyed building the finest family practice clinic in Anchorage. They have lived here since 1996 with their 2 daughters; Julie and Melissa. Dr. John Nolte attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK – Undergraduate in Biomedical Chemistry, Medical School and Family Practice Residency. Dr. Nolte’s special accomplishments include Chief Resident in Family Practice and Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Award. He also proudly served in the US Air Force for 9 years as Flight Surgeon, Chief of Emergency Services, and Chief and Assistant Chief of Hospital Services with an Honorable Discharge in 1996 as a Lt. Col. John is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a certified Medical Review Officer, MROCC, and a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. He has special interests in Asthma, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, and Diabetes.
