What makes Hillside Family Medicine (HFM) special?
- We are a full service, comprehensive, and ambulatory family practice center meeting the needs of newborns and up.
- We are a State of Alaska recognized Travel Medicine Clinic.
- We offer a full spectrum of occupational medicine including MRO/drug testing, all classes of FAA exams, executive physicals, Workers Compensation case management, and OSHA surveillance exams.
- We currently have two male and five female providers on staff, all of whom are accepting new patients.
- We have an onsite Medication Dispensary, so you can fill most of your prescriptions during your office visit.

We are conveniently located in South Anchorage. Parking is available right outside our front entrance. Extended hours and numerous "same day" appointments ensure that we are here when YOU need us.
Are you tired of long waits to be seen and spending only a few short minutes with your doctor? All of our non-osteopathic appointments are a minimum of thirty minutes long, and female health examination appointments are at least forty minutes long. A comprehensive clinic entails that we do your blood work, x-rays, and minor surgeries on-site. In addition many of our patients save gasoline and time by filling their prescriptions in our Medication Dispensary and leaving the clinic with their medications in hand.
The year 2009 brought many changes for Hillside Family Medicine. We now have six physicians and a physician's assistant available to serve your healthcare needs. In September the clinic expanded into the adjacent space, giving us an additional three exam rooms and another procedure room. We have also transferred all of our paper charts to electronic records. All notes are now typed, completely legible, and easily accessible to physicians and staff. We use a computerized medical record system that is CCHIT certified with top-notch security to ensure that your medical information is safe, secure, and immediately available.
Hillside Family Medicine serves as your front-line defense in preventing and keeping you and your family healthy using the most up-to-date information and technology available. Employees of employers who choose HFM occupational services are not forced to repeat tests and/or exams with a different provider, transfer records, or lose their connection to quality healthcare on or off the job.
